Rock On!!! Adventure Camp, Avalanche '09

Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime??? Join WAC on 6th May for 4 days of adventure at the SU Avalanche Camp Site near Ooty. As we experience this Beautiful and daring place, you will learn to trust in The Rock that is Jesus Christ. This is not your normal Christian camp but an exciting time of Mountain climbing, Abseil down a waterfall, Kayak up the 1000ft lake, plunge yourself into a bottomless water hole, brave the cold of the night, Gorge along a slippery stream and loads more! You will also get Great food and of course amazing fellowship with your Wac friends and with Jesus! Ready to come??? Last year was my first camp and my most exciting week I experienced here in India!! Come Join us and prepare to be challenged physically as well as spiritually.

Here are the details:
When: 6th May (Night) we leave and return 11th (Morning) from Chennai
Where: SU Avalanche Camp site near Ooty
Registration: Rs.3000 for Working Adults and Rs.2500 for Students
Last day to register is 15th Feb so hurry!
Please remember to bring stuff like shoes, torch light, warm clothing, sleeping bag (if you one), Bible (if you have one), and anything else you think you need to Experience God and His Creation. (Try and pack light) This is a drug/alcohol free camp so don't get any Ideas :)

SONTAN -- The WAC Beach Camp Sept '08

Come be a part. A weekend like never before. On the beach, getting tanned by the Son. Sorry no fishing, but we got better things for you...like Theme Party, Treasure Hunt, Cluedo, Beach Volleyball, Crab Hunt, Swimming, Game WACky, Concerts and loads more...

The Theme this year, Sontan, and not Suntan basically points to Jesus as the Son and how He can make a difference in our life. Special talk on this topic by our guest speaker Shawn Acheson from Canada. Come enjoy listening to Shawn... (P.S.: He's got a great sense of humour).

In case you're wondering what to bring...Beach towel, toileteries, Bible (if you have one), Shorts, and don't forget the Costume for the Theme Party. The Theme for the Party this year is Hollywood/Bollywood.

WACky T-shirts also availble at the camp...If you want to get hold of one, then please do let us know your size while you register, so we can have it ready when you get to the camp!! The T-shirt would cost you 300 Rupees.

Beach Camp

WAC Camps are generally activity based camps. In view of providing youth with loads of fun, music and solid Bible teaching this camp is no different. This camp features prominent bands like Blood Covenant, Vertical Reality, Pillar and of course the WACKy Band. Loads of beach based activities - like Treasure Hunts, Cluedo's, Crab Hunting and many more...

"No Compromise" is the theme for the camp. The talks are based on the movie Spider Man.

As youth what should be our standard of compromise? The Bible says in Romans 12:2 - "Do not compromise any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

We make sure there is no compromise for the fun we have at camp. See you there.
